Three Cats and Faerie

Bedtime Stories by Kate O'Neil

Faerie is a dog person. This is a perfectly reasonable thing to be, even when you happen to live with three cats. There is Todd, who is a Gentleman and dresses the part; Kevin, who is handsome and fluffy and a connoisseur of boxes; and Richard, who is the smallest, the sweetest, and the most adventurous. These are bedtime stories based on their true life adventures.

Watercolor of three orange cats, the cat on the left is wearing a blue waistcoat and glasses, and a redheaded woman in glasses, under a climbing red rose.

About

Kate O'Neil is a playwright and essayist who never meant to have a single cat. She has written about sailing in Cruising World and Latitudes & Attitudes, she is the author of PeepsCookbook.com which is exactly like it sounds, her plays have been produced by local theaters, and she writes about artificial intelligence at The AI Reframe on Substack. Three Cats and Faerie is her first collection of bedtime stories; they are based on the true adventures of the entirely real Todd, Kevin, and Richard. These stories are written in an old house in Seattle under their close supervision.
